How We Came to Be

On November 15, 2015, Elder  Aman & Clara Massaquoi invited  a group of friends and members of the local Liberian community to share  his vision of what the Lord has instructed him to do for his community  and the city. He called for a meeting on a very windy  night at the  El Nora Mexican Café in Virginia Beach, VA. There, Elder Massaquoi  introduced the vision and ministry of Unity Fellowship. Thirty-six  individuals were present.  It was a wonderful evening of worship and a source of confirmation for  the vision.  

After that meeting, there was no delay! The following month Prayer  Services began at Open Door Chapel in Virginia Beach, VA. Since that  faithful day, the Lord has continuously blessed the ministry. Unity  Fellowship is a place where you  are openly welcomed. It is a place where people can fellowship and  experience the love of Jesus Christ in a Spirit-filled environment  (worship), and it is a place where people can build a healthy  relationship in Christ.

Unity Fellowship has now moved to its new and expanded location in the beautiful city of  Virginia Beach, Virginia just three miles from the City Center knowing, believing and; “being  confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians  1:6
